MAC Magenta Blush: Review/Swatch

Looks bright and scary in the pan? – Yep!

A difficult color to wear? – Check!

Unique color? – Oh hell yea!

That kind of sums up my criteria for buying a blush nowadays and MAC Magenta prfectly fits the bill! I think now that I have enough pink, coral, orange, peach blushers (and also a few which I call “safe” to wear anytime anyday!) its time to get into the experiment mode!

I was in search of the perfect pink lipstick for me at the MAC store a few days back. When I was suggested Captive, it looked too dark in the tube for me and I thought “Oh well! another shade not meant for me!” but when I tried it on i loved it! (although it isn’t a pink as such..but what the hell! we are allowed to deviate from our goals once in a while, aren’t we? 😉 )

MAC Throw Me a Line Pro Longwear Lip Pencil: Review, Swatch

Lip pencils are something I’ve started using in recent days. I have a red from Avon, a berry one from Inglot and the third and most recent addition is the MAC Throw Me a Line from the Hey, Sailor! collection! I was keen on getting a good red orange lip pencil(which is soooo difficult to find here!!) so when this collection was launched I didn’t hesitate to get this one although the price burnt a huge hole in my pocket 😛

Anything orange/coral fascinates me and if it is a blush? It is definitely mine! 😀 My mom always complains about how I have more or less the same shades of orange. 😛 Anyway, here is the latest addition to my coral/orange blushes.

Modern Mandarin was the only one that caught my attention in the MAC Tres Cheek LE collection.

Have you ever felt frustrated when you’ve done your research on an entire collection (especially MAC since these LE stuff launch much later in our country than in the States) and when you actually see the collection in person you aren ‘t too happy with most of what you thought you would love for sure?? Well, it happened to me with the MAC Hey, Sailor! collection. But a totally unexpected product from this line which caught my eye at the store was the Fleet Fast blush! (I know you aren’t surprised that a “blush” caught my fancy but I’ll tell you why it did anyway :P).

When I looked up the swatch online when it was released I thought it looked dupeable and there was nothing different about it but obviously I could not resist trying out the blushers at the store so I did and it was love at first application! 😉
