The first time I heard the adjective “sun-kissed” I was so curious as to what it meant. Really, if the sun kisses your face like even as a light as a feather’s touch, you would be scorched!! So why sun-kissed?? Well, least to say the term brought out the sarcastic, not so nice side of me and I used to laugh whenever I read the term anywhere! But.. (Of course ever story has a but!!) there was one product that led me to appreciate the term “sun-kissed” and made me fall in love with what it actually meant! (Note: never take any adjective in a literal sense!!) Meet Goddess, a liquid illuminator that taught me that being sun-kissed isn’t as bad at it sounds at all! Oh and here is the actual meaning of this adjective: a place that receives a lot of sun, or a person whose appearance is attractive because they have recently been in the sun. Hmmm… Attractive, Goddess, Sun-kissed.. Seems like a win-win situation here!

Mint Mani for Talia Joy
When the Beauty Blogging Community comes together for a good cause and to show their love and support for someone then I am all in to contribute in my own little way. And today’s manicure is not only dedicated to a person who has changed the lives of many but also brought attention to pediatric cancer and the lack of medical facilities for children who have cancer. Talia Joy Castellano, a 13 year old Youtube makeup guru and cancer warrior was someone who used Youtube as her medium to share her love for makeup and at the same time create an awareness for the lack of medical facilities available for children who suffered from cancer. She suffered from 2 types of cancer and although she is no more, she fought till the very end and has been an inspiration to all of us. She was so upbeat and positive about everything which was one of the main reasons why I loved watching her videos. She was also made an honorary Cover Girl by Ellen DeGeneres and I must say she was, is and will always be the most beautiful Cover Girl ever.

It has been almost 3 months since I posted anything about my shopping sprees. So here is a “collective haul” post. Thanks to Rekha, I had a chance to try MUA and VIVO stuff and that too at dirt cheap prices! (VIVO had a sale where everything was 50% off and free shipping and MUA also had a sale of Buy 2 get 1 free) So I made the most of the opportunity. Presenting to you, a haul that made me wonder if I should open a store of my own 😛

Are Sunscreens With Higher SPF Carcinogenic?
I have this habit of recommending products to people around me whether they ask for it or not. That is what beauty blogging has done to me and I don’t spare the men around me either. One fine day, when I started yakking like I usually do, I casually asked my brother if he uses a sunscreen and I told him about the various sunscreens available in the market with SPF of 50-100. And then the argument started.
