I picked up this Avon Glazewear Intense Lipgloss in intense plum in their previous flyer. I wanted a plum color in my collection and opted for this.
Packaging : Transparent body with black cap, bulging at the middle – simple and nice.
I had a tough time deciding the color, and finally opted for intense plum.

My take on the product :
The gloss is pretty opaque and covers pigmentation. It is not sticky to the extent of hair getting stuck in it! The wand is a usual one, but nothing wrong with that. It stays on for about 2 hours after which it starts fading. But that’s ok as it is a gloss! The color is a pinkish plum color and has minute shimmer in it. This was my first gloss from Avon and was excited about this one. It has mild shimmer which is not OTT on application.
Quantity : 4.5 g
Price : Rs.149 (MRP Rs.329)
Let’s get to the likes and dislikes.
I like this gloss for:
- The gloss is medium consistency and is not sticky.
- It is opaque and hides pigmentation.
- The shade in itself is a very pretty one and can be worn all by itself.
- The tube is a transparent one and the packaging is pretty decent.
- It has a very mild smell which is not overpowering.
- For the price (it’s mostly on offer, so one can grab it), it’s an awesome gloss.
Here are the swatches:
My dislikes are:
- The staying power (I shouldn’t be saying this for a gloss, but I can’t really dislike anything else)
- This can be bought only through an Avon representative. (This should not be a problem, as one can contact Deepika for Avon products!)
I recommend this to everyone, but do grab it when it is on offer!
I rate this 4/5
