The year has finally come to an end. And oh boy, am I glad! #thebestisyettocome
Well, the year not being good is one thing, but the year ending with a bang is a good thing. And Fab Bag has ended its year on a high. The December Fab Bag is worthy of the OMGs, wowzas and every surprising “oh my gosh” words/phrases that exist. I’m not exaggerating here.
What is Fab Bag?
Fab Bag is a monthly subscription service, which costs 599 INR/month.You receive four-to-five samples of makeup, skincare and other beauty and grooming products to try. One or two products in the bag are usually full size. This way you get to discover new brands and products which might work for you.
The ‘Blend the Beauty’ December Fab Bag has (almost) everything you need to look fabulous on Christmas day or New Year’s eve. There are two sample size products and three full size products. A skin brightening scrub , foot soak, body cream, a nail colour and an eyeshadow quad – what more could you ask for?
Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel (full size): 249 INR for 9ml
I’ve never heard of this brand before but the metallic lavender nail colour looks good!
Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brigtening Scrub (sample size): 340 INR for 20gm
Again, an unknown brand. Alanna Naturally Beautiful’s official website claims that this scrub is an anti-ageing scrub. I’m definitely going to give this a try. Anything which has the magic word “anti-ageing” has my attention. Bonus – I love coconut-scented products.
Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter and Vanilla Body Cream (sample size): 26 INR for 10gm
Aroma Magic is a popular brand among Indian households. I see the saleswomen in Health and Glow selling this brand like there is no tomorrow so I’m sure all you know this brand. What I didn’t know was they had a vanilla-scented body cream! The joy has just doubled since I love vanilla-scented products as well. Perfect for winters since it has cocoa butter. I’m travelling next week to the east of India. The weather is apparently freezing cold so I will be putting this to test there. Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak (full size): 200 INR for 100gm
Bliscent is a brand I follow on Instagram. I was excited to get one of their products in my Fab Bag this month. The peppermint foot soak smells divine. Imagine a hot chocolate in hand, feet blisfully soaked in warm water with the peppermint foot soak and Home Alone on TV? Okay, that’s my plan for Christmas eve. *hatching a plan to keep hubby dearest out of the way* 😉
SUGAR Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad in 14 Skyfall (full size): 699 INR
Saving the best for the last – Tadaaaaaaaa!!
Okay, I have a cofession to make. I order the Fab Bag whenever I know there’s a SUGAR product in it. Imagine getting an eyeshadow palette worth 699 INR along with four other products for 599 INR! I love SUGAR products although, strangely, I haven’t reviewed even one of their products on my blog. I have quite a few of SUGAR makeup products so maybe I’ll dedicate a whole week/month to only SUGAR makeup product reviews? Let me know if you’d be interested in that.
The name Skyfall reminds me of Adele’s powerful voice that just evokes the 007 feel.

Okay, back to the eyeshadow quad, I am in love with the blue colour in the palette. I haven’t swatched it as yet. Will review this quad sometime next month on the blog.
Final Verdict: And that’s it ladies and gentlemen! The December ‘Blend the Beauty’ Fab Bag costs 599 INR but contains products worth 1514 INR. If you’d like to treat yourself (or gift your partner, friend, relative) to a bag filled with goodies, I would strongly recommend getting the December 2017 Fab Bag. You’ll not be disappointed!
