Price, Quantity and Packaging:
The smaller tube (18 gms) is sold at 99 INR and 40 gms is sold for 199 INR
The BB cream comes in a cream tube with a white flip cap.
I was so confident that the product would work (since everyone kept raving about it) and bought the tube. But I wasn’t too happy with it since most of the claims didn’t hold true!
Claims:
- Instantly perfect Skin
- Fairer Skin
- Healthy Glow
- Lines and Imperfections reduced
- Even Skin tone
- 8H Moisturization
In terms of shade choices, people of India listen up! We don’t have a choice đ But strangely the only shade, (which has more of a pink undertone) that we get seems to blend on really well on different skintones. Also the fragrance of the cream is pretty strong for my liking but pleasant.
The Garnier BB Cream doesn’t moisturize my skin to the extent I may want it to but it does a decent job.  (super duper dry skin you see!! ) and I use the Cetaphil moisturizer for Dry  Skin  before using this. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin either which is a bonus!
“Fairer Skin, Lines and Imperfections reduced, Even skin tone” are just claims. I didn’t find the BB cream perform the miracle in these aspects as I had hoped!
So what exactly did I like with respect to this BB cream? There is one thing that makes this a must have product for me. It brightens up my face like nobody’s business! I use this before going to work and even though I feel sleepy my face is all bright. So on any given day I would use this as a makeup base (like an illuminator of sorts.). Or maybe just a moisturizer and this to school.
It has an SPF of 24 with UVA/UVB protection which is an added bonus to the brightening factor. Also it doesn’t leave a white cast on your face and blends immediately into your skin. But other than these two I didn’t find this to work wonders for me.
Final Word: If you want a product that gives you ONLY a healthy glow sans the shine then this one is for you.
Oh the Fairy with the wand! where are you? đ
