If there’s anything I like, it’s a good song. A good song that can keep my spirits high and give me something to think of, something pleasant and yet so beautifully nostalgic. And that’s exactly what this all new heart warming song called ‘Jad Se Judein’ sung by Mohit Chauhan, for the L’Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X ‘Stay Rooted’ campaign, does.
And if you think just the song has me all praises, wait till you hear about the video! Outlining the sweet stories of three people – a student in search of her teacher, a granddaughter who makes a small and simple sacrifice for her grandmother and two friends who reconnect at a place they call their own, the song is such a beautiful walk down the lane of something very dear to you. The Jad Se Judein song takes you back to your roots. With as much as just a few seconds, the song makes you remember that one person who shaped you and your life, all of those people in your life who have had a role to play in making you who you are today – but all of those who’ve unfortunately been forgotten today.
It’s raining now, as I look out of my window, and this song just transports me back through the labyrinthine columns of my memory. “We hope that you’ll go back in time and reconnect with them. We hope that you’ll “STAY ROOTED”!” the tagline says. You bet, I say.
