The first time I wore the L’oreal Paris Color Riche Le Gloss, there was a sudden urge for me to babble in French!! And these were the words I said, “Le Gloss! Le Magnifique!!” with the gloss in my hand like how I would hold a paint brush. And these were in the four walls of my room where my mom was staring at me as if I had some personality disorder!!
Price: 550 INR for 12 ml
Now mind you, L’oreal promises that this gloss would be of supreme creaminess, give extreme shine and is enriched with Vitamin E, argan oil and Omega-3. So even a person like me who is not a huge fan of lipgloss leaned towards it slightly (and ended up buying it of course!) and I have come to terms with the fact that it is one of the best lipglosses in terms of coverage and creaminess!!
The color I picked was 163,Blushing Berry because I was apprehensive if the other colors would even show up on the lips! Now, that the formula seems so good I might return to pick a few more!! Blushing Berry is a true berry with a slight pink tone to it and golden shimmer which provides the so called “extreme shine”. The shimmer isn’t visible on the lips which is a good thing of course!!
The color can be worn sheer and can be built to give you a decent coverage even if you have pigmented lips.
The lipgloss comes in a squeeze tube which I’m okay with since a lot of product isn’t wasted like in the case of a wand. Also the lipgloss has a strong vanilla scent which I.. wait for it… LOVE!!!

The lipgloss glides on evenly and is so creamy on the lips!! I find it a little sticky but other than it is purrrrrrfect!! I haven’t tried this over a lipstick as yet since I love this color on its own and the coverage it gives is sufficient.
In terms of staying power, it lasted on me for about 2 and half to 3 hours (and that time included me sipping on a cuppa black coffee and gorging on choco pies) which I find pretty decent for a lipgloss on its own!!
The only nayyyy I would point out to with respect to this gloss is the price. It is pretty steep for a lipgloss but the formula, staying power and colors available make up for that!!
Final Word: One of my go to lip products nowadays this one is a sure shot winner! For all you lipgloss lovers out there, this one might just make it to your top 3 lipglosses list! So don’t miss out on it! For the others, it is definitely worth a try!!
