Orange Addict? Who?? Me.. Hmmm.. Maybe.. 60% of the lip products in my collection belong to the orange/coral/ peach family and to tell you the truth, I love each of them to bits! Each month I pick certain lip products from my collection that I use that entire month and for the past two months, I’ve been using the following 5 orange lip products on a regular basis and it was a conscious decision to give my MAC lipsticks a break. I’m excited to show you my top 5!!
Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick: 45 Orange Appreté: This one looks like a sheer coral-peach lipstick when swatched but has a pale orange touch to it when applied. It is sheer and buildable only to a semi-sheer level. I love the way the color looks on me and the shimmer in the lipstick adds to the shine. Perfect for a soft day look. Price: 650 INR
Colorbar True Gloss Lipgloss: Orange Sunset: This is one of my most used glosses and it is as good as a liquid lipstick in terms of opacity and staying power. Price: 495 INR
MAC Pro Longwear Lip Liner: Throw Me a Line: This is the only orange lip liner I have and even though it isn’t a true orange, I love this red-orange color so much! I use a lipbalm, use the liner and go over it with an orange tinted lipbalm or a sheer orange lipgloss since the liner alone makes my lips extremely dry. Price: 1300 INR (Limited Edition)
Revlon Lip Butter: Tutti Frutti: I love this one for the sheen and is apt for a day look! The orange is not over the top so I wear this one whenever I just want that pop of color sans the “hey!look at my lips!” brightness. 😛 Price: 600 INR
Shiseido Lacquer Rouge: OR 508 Blaze: For a night out this is my used color. I looovvveeee the texture, finish and the staying power. The color is a deep yellow orange with golden shimmer. Price: 1500 INR
