Last weekend, we decided to make a trip (it was literally a trip!! thanks to the distance and heavy traffic!!) to the newly opened Pheonix Market City in Velachery, Chennai and see what the hype was all about. I couldn’t help but gasp when I saw the humongous giant buildings (most of them were under construction though). And I was glad that a few exclusive outlets which the city was missing was finally here.Here are a few pictures. I’m sorry about the quality. The outside view:
A lot of the outlets inside were still under construction so I’m still curious to see what comes where. The usual Globus, Pantaloons, Lifestyle, Big Bazaar, Forest Essentials outlets were here too along with Malabar Gold and Diamonds, NAC.
People in Chennai, a word of advice.. go visit the mall but not on a weekend (otherwise get ready to be squished and squashed!)!!
