Ruby Woo faced some serious competition from it’s counterpart RiRi Woo. RiRi Woo gained equal love and fan following and was a major hit but unfortunately was out of stock in the city I live in (damn!) and apparently will never return here (hmmmphhh!!). So I settled for the underrated RiRi Woo lipglass. Well, if it isn’t the stick, it has to be the glass!!

Price: Rs.1200
Ingredients:
Packaging: A transparent bottle like packaging with a rose gold color cap. The color shows through the transparent lower half.
Color: A blue-based deep yet bright red. It is cool toned and is one of those awesome colors that make your teeth look white! (That means you can do away with brushing, glug some mouthwash and get away with it!)

Consistency and Texture: The lipglass is definitely sticky like the other MAC lipglasses but is also creamy.
Patchiness isn’t an issue while applying the gloss since it is creamy, almost like a liquid lipstick. It glides on easily. The only issue I had was that the fine lines on my lips showed up after a while despite the prep.

Coverage: Despite being a creamy lipglass,it does not give an opaque coverage. Well, the coverage is certainly better than other lipglosses available in the market but I would say this one is translucent, leaning more towards full opacity.

Staying Power: The lipglass stays on for about 5 to 5 and half hours on me because of it’s creamy consistency and stickiness. It does bleed outside the lip line but there is nothing a lip liner can’t do! And fyi, RiRi Woo lip liner is available!! 😉 Otherwise, take a little on the back of your hand and apply it using the wand or a lip brush.

What I like:
- The consistency; the liquid lipstick like consistency feels amazing when applied
- No patchiness while applying
- Staying power for a lipgloss is good
What I dislike:
- It emphasizes fine lines
- RiRi Woo is a limited edition (sob!)

Final Word: RiRi Woo lipglass is amazing in terms of quality and I would say, if you’ve missed out on the lipstick do get this if it is still available at the store!! It is definitely one of the underrated yet better products in the collection!
