Step 1 :- Prime lids & apply base
This is how it looks finally 🙂
Hi all !!
This post is going to be a smokey eye, incorporating green with black. This eye makeup can be paired up with either your ethnic dress or your modern dresses, and you don’t really need to be an expert for this, cause this requires minimalistic blending.
Step 1 :- Prime lids & apply base
I used nyx eyeshadow base – pearl, to make the eyeshadows adhere better. You can use a primer beneath first, to make sure the longevity of shadows. I just applied it on lid.
I used a charcoal black eyeshadow and made a rough thick wing and pulled it out to get a guideline for later work. Just make sure you pat enough shadow to make it visible and let it act as a foundation for ‘smokey’ thing.
Then using a flat brush, I patted some matte olive green eyeshadow starting from the inner corner of the eye and all over the lid, except that I left a little bit of wing untouched.
Step 4 :- Use dark green eyeshadow & blend
Then using a fluffy brush, I used some dark green eyeshadow and blended right over the socket of the eye. To ensure the “smokiness” I mixed this shadow a bit with a black eyeshadow. Blend & blend.
Step 5 :- Highlight
Then I used a pale golden eyeshadow and placed+blended in the center of the eye. I used the same eyeshadow in a very small amount to highlight the brow bone.
Then I lined my eyes heavily with a kohl, and set it with a black eyeshadow to prevent it from smudging. Finished up with a coat of mascara 🙂
