My skin suffers dryness especially during winters. My palms and elbows feel super dry at times and I feel so uncomfortable with cream or lotion on my palms. I have always been looking out for some lighter option instead of applying creams. I hoard TBS products and I have tried skin care products from almost all their range. I so wanted to try the Hemp Oil when I read ‘Very dry skin’ on the packaging.
My daughter was keeping me so busy during the shopping that I never noticed the price until I billed this tiny bottle. All I expected was Rs.300 max for this product but it was sold for a whooping cost of Rs.725 for 15 ml !!!
When I enquired the SA about the price he said the oil is concentrated and hence 2 drops are enough for a single use and that is why the oil comes with a dropper. Initially I was not convinced but when I tried it my hands felt super moisturized without any greasy feeling. The oil was as light as it possibly could be and my dry skin instantly absorbed the oil. It has a very mild fragrance that is negligible and there is nothing that I don’t like about this product.
Pros
- Very light being an oil.
- Does not leave the skin greasy.
- Makes the skin soft and supple.
- Gets absorbed instantly and thus no need of any massage.
- Does not have any strong smell.
- Easily available.
- The 15 ml bottle lasts long.
- Dermatologically tested.
- Provides up to 24 hrs hydration.
- Continuous usage shows significant improvement.
Cons
- The cost of course. A 15 ml bottle costs Rs.725 !!!!!!!!!!
Though I don’t have any complaints with this product I wouldn’t be buying it often. Might be when my hand needs hydration very badly, this might come to my mind. I am still debating whether to buy another bottle for this winter. It is completely a luxury I would say. So think twice before buying this product.
Unless you have very dry skin, one might not need this and do not hesitate to skip this product. If you have super dry skin then it might become your HG product !!
