‘I am not a shopaholic. I’m helping the economy.’
This is what I tell myself and others when I shop like there’s no tomorrow. I do not want to bore you with the technical details yada yada but being an economics graduate pays off when it comes to this. đ Well, to help the economy from my side, I had shopped from Forever 21, Nykaa and GirlThinks and received all my stuff last week. It was quite an eventful week in terms of shopping online. Tiresome. đ
Speaking of eventful, yesterday, our Independence Day was also quite an eventful day for me. I went to Express Avenue in search of something I had been wanting to try and been cribbing about not being able to go there but then it happened yesterday. On a side note, look at these beautiful peacocks that were on display in Express Avenue!
While embarking on my journey for that “something”, a sale board outside The Body Shop caught my eye and I went in. Needless to say, I came out with a bag and my debit card, that was of course swiped.
And there it was. The “something” I was searching for. The whiff of freshly baked doughnuts drew me in. I did not even bother taking a picture of the sign outside so here’s one when I took while I was waiting for my order.
Yes! Yes! Krispy Kreme is FINALLY here in Chennai! Woohoo*infinity!! Seeing those original glazed doughtnuts being made in person was amazing! I have seen it on television but seeing it in person was something else! But……..
I did not have the glazed doughnuts! Do not ask me why. Just didn’t feel like it. A friend of mine had accompanied me and even he chose something different. We had Kookie and Chocolate Cheesecake (the white one) and Chocolate Iced Custard Filled.
Finally, I’m saying adios with a guessing game. Here’s is a picture of my current favorite lipstick. Take a guess on which one it might be!
Have a wonderful Sunday! đ xx
